A Smart Shopper Consultation is the quieter option for those who would prefer to keep the party animal at bay! Each consultation gives you the ability to speak one-on-one with our qualified Petwiz consultants and experience our product demonstrations first hand. Consultations are offered to individuals and groups of up to three guests.

How does it work?

  • Once you have booked a Smart Shopper Consultation, all you need to do is provide the venue
  • During the consultation a Petwiz consultant will run through detailed demonstrations on a range of our products as well as help to answer any pet care questions you or your guests may have
  • Orders are taken after the demonstrations and payment is collected either by cash or direct deposit
  • Orders are then fulfilled and delivered to your home within one week of the consultation

Are there any additional costs involved?

  • A service and callout fee will be charged based on your location - Sydney Metropolitan only: $10.00 -$20.00
    This small payment is required purely to cover travel costs. Payment will be collected at the start of the consultation. This cost can be deducted in the following ways:
  • Half the cost will be automatically refunded if product sales are >$50.
  • The full cost will be refunded if product sales are > $80

Why host a Smart Shopper Consultation?

Petwiz understands that not everyone likes the thought of hosting a party! We also understand that some people just don't know many other people with pets. Hosting a Smart Shopper Consultation still allows customers to take advantage of our benefits without the stress of hosting a party. Many of these benefits can't be found in pet shops today!
These benefits include:

  • A minimum saving of 10% off recommended retail pricing (R.R.P) on all products
  • The opportunity for you and your pet to test, play, smell, touch and taste (one for the pets only!) all of our products before you make your purchase
  • Assurance that every Petwiz consultant is a certified Veterinary Nurse who only offers the best advice on quality products.
  • We come to you!

Can my guests bring their pets along?

Allowing your guests to bring their pets along can enhance the Petwiz experience as the pets have the opportunity to taste and play with the products first hand. This aids you and your guests in making your decision on which products to purchase!

However we do understand that space is required to allow pets to join in on the fun and sometimes this isn't always practical. Therefore it is up to the host to decide on whether or not to ask their guests to bring their pets along.
If pets are to join the party, it is important to remember the following:

  • Not all pets get along! Some dogs are not always dog friendly and cats will generally get spooked when taken out of their own environment!
  • Depending on space and the weather on the day, Petwiz Parties may need to be hosted indoors. For some, this may cause potential problems and needs to be considered

Although Petwiz aims to provide a happy environment for guests and their pets, we do not accept any responsibility should an incident between pets occur.

How long does a Smart Shopper Consultation last?

The length of a Smart Shopper Consultation depends on extent of the questions asked and the range of products demonstrated. Generally speaking, each consultation will last between 1-2hrs

At present, Petwiz Smart Shopper Consultations are only offered to those that are based in NSW - Sydney Metropolitan areas.
